Next year, the Campbell County Fire Department is considering replacing a ladder truck and three command vehicles, which could cost up to $1.6 million. The ladder truck, which was bought in 2002, recently failed during a fire at the Rawhide mine and needs repairs to ensure it is reliable and safe, Chief Bill Shank said.
