Sold at public auction, the 94,000-acre L.O. ranch of southern Montana, for 50 years, one of the biggest and most picturesque ranches in the cow county, Friday passed into the hands of a new owner, a banker of Madison, Wisconsin, Jerome J. Jones, who, nevertheless, is ready to ride fence at any time. The famous ranch was put on the block to settle its debts, amounting to $200,000.
